What Causes Persistent Fever When Diagnosed With Strep Throat?

My three year old daughter received a positive diagnosis of strep throat today. She has been prescribed antibiotics and has taken two doses so far. She is also taking acetomenophen and ibuprofen alternating at 3 hour intervals. Her fever just hit over 103. Is this normal?

Thanks for the query. I understand your concern.
If your doctor has prescriped mrdicines after exmining het... please continue with all medicines as prescribed.Let her be resting... eat light foid... take medicines regularly. You can give her a quick cold water sponging.. this would give her relief.
Medicines take one day course to show degree of relief.In case you don't find such relief/she gets aggrevated symptomos.Take her to the doctor for needful investigations &speisiphic changes in treatment
