What Causes Persistent Fever And Vomiting In A Toddler?

My grandson is 3 y/o. His has been running a temp of 100 to 103.6. At first he complained of a sore throat and that has resolved, but with routine Tylenol he continues to vomit and have a temp. Had an episode of crying, drooling and thrashing around. I asked the mom if he was having a seizure, but she has never seen one before. All of the symptoms started early yesterday morning and he slept most of the day, which is highly unusual for him. He has seemed to feel a little better and then he vomits some more. They have been giving him juice and soda crackers trying to keep him hydrated and something in his belly to come up again. Might be just a flu bug, but he did have a flu shot. Usually an active and healthy little boy. Sorry, but didn t know you charged a fee....lame...we can call his doctor free
