What Causes Persistent Diarrhoea Along With Severe Abdominal Cramping?

After eating seared tuna last Friday night, I woke on Saturday morning with diarrhea, very painful cramping and tremendous nausea. Also, I feel weak and have occasional headache that pot me to bed. I have been unable to eat anything but small amounts of bread and crackers since. I ve had no appetite and symptoms have persisted the same since.

Hi

Greetings from Dr Divakara P
Thanks for posting your query.

Well its clearly a case of food poisoning. You need to be started on a course of antibiotics.

Also before starting antibiotic course, you require an injection to suppress your nausea. Hence kindly get the injection first followed by antibiotic course.

Also drink hot water, less oily food and avoid non veg food. Also avoid citrus fruits.

Make sure you hydrate yourself well by drinking plenty of water.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarification feel free to ask.

Regards.
