What Causes Persistent Diarrhea Along With Severe Abdominal Pain?

I have had diarrhea for over 2 weeks now and have not been on any different medications or change in my diet. I am now having pure water, not just loose stools for the past 3 days. They are yellowish, lime green in color and look like they have mucus in them as well. I have terrible pain when I feel like I need to have a bowel movement and sometimes I have only the feeling that I need to but nothing happens. The urge will also come out of no where and I have no choice, no matter what I m doing I have to stop because I m unable to wait. Every time I go to urinate, I also have a bowel moment

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I have gone through your questions.

Watery diarrhoea plus abdominal pain may be due to intestinal infection.

You should take proper antibiotics plus oral rehydration therapy, that will not leads to dehydration.

Have a better health.
Regards Dr Nirav
