We have been giving her all homely medicinal treatment like ginger, garlic, and honey. but the cough is yet to go. had consulted few good doctors who had advised us not to use any medicines and suggested with same homely treatment. We are now giving levolin through nebuliser. she is better now but yet the cough does not go. more so she at most times vomit after coughing.

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic.
Persistent cough for more than one month suggests that it may be whooping cough.
You also have to exclude bronchiolitis as well as asthma.
It is difficult to come to a conclusion without seeing the patient.
better consult pediatrician and take proper treatment.
Erythromycin is the drug of choice for whooping cough.
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
