What Causes Persistent Cold And Cough In An Elderly Person?
I have a cold and a cough that will not go away for more than 3 months . I also talk with a voice that sounds like a person who has a cold. I have seen my doctor a few times and he does not relate and says it will eventually go away . I am usually a healthy man . I am 73 years old and very active at work and sports.

I really appreciate your concern, your doctor has given you right advise because this is allergic condition and may not need any specific treatment, because this is self limiting condition, be patience everything will be fine soon, drink more water, have some hot drinks, try steam inhalation, hope this information helps, take care.
