My almost 12 year old son has been home from school the last 2 days. Monday complained of stomach ache. today more of the same. and now around 5-5:30 chest pain (heartburn I think) I gave him a dose of Pink Bismuth now 40 minutes later still is complaining of burning in chest area. He has eaten dry toast, banana, yogurt. about a week past date. and a bowl of frosted flakes, today. Now says its getting a little better.

Hi,

It could be gastritis if it subsides in a few hours. You can give him some antacids if you have.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshita, Ophthalmologist
