What Causes Periods On 5th Day After Taking B-Long And Duoluton?

Q. I am having irregular periods from last 5 months.. last month i went to my gync and she checked me n told me that i have follicular ovarian cyst (1.4cm )and she gave me B- Long & duoluton l tablets for 21 days.. i regularly used tablets.. after 5 th day i got periods.. can U pls Suggest me ??

Hello Mam,
I just read your query. As you have irregular periods and prescribed B-long which contains pyridoxine(Vitamin B6) and tab. Duoluton- L which contains ethinylestradiol and levonorgestrel as an active ingredient. Duoluton-L is a hormonal contraceptive and used for various conditions.
After taking this tablet regularly for 21 days, period usually comes after 5 to 7 days. It is normal. There is nothing wrong in it that the periods come on 5th day.
So keep on taking medicine as prescribed to you.
Along with that eat healthy and do walk and exercise. It will help you too in improvement.
