What Causes Penis Pain When Erected Upwards?

My penis hurts when erect upwards. If I hold it downward it doesn t hurt but if I squeeze the shaft it feels like something inside is painful. I was tested for a bacterial infection over a week ago and just done done with antibiotics. Since the doctor didn t know if it was a uti or gonorrea I was treated for both. Why does my penis hurt when erect upwards? Will it go away? When I squueeE it it hurts.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

From your description, I am of the opinion that abscess formation with closed walls is causing such symptoms. I am of the opinion that you should continue your antibiotics in consultation with your local doctor. A USG of the organ would definitely add more to the diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ashish Ranjan, General & Family Physician
