What Causes Pelvic Pain Inspite Of Being On Yasmin Pills?
I have been experiencing pelvic pain like period cramps on and off for around the last three weeks when I was on the contraceptive pill yasmin, at this time I was not having my 7 pill free days (under nurses guidance) so put it down to not having a break. I've been taking logynon for 6 days and today I had some dark brown discharge.
My mum had cancerous cells removed from her cervix when she was young and the pain coupled with the discharge is making me worry I may be experiencing symptoms of cancer. I live in the UK and the national screening age for pap smears is 25. I am 22. Do you think I have cause for concern and should request a smear from my doctor or not worry?

You should not use Contraceptive pills without and or under guidance of a registered GYnaecologist. Please contact a good Gynaecologist soon.
