What Causes Peeling Skin On The Buttocks?

I have an area on my buttocks where the skin has peeled away as though it was melted off exposing the flesh underneath and when I clean the exposed area the residue on the cloth is a very light yellow such as when wiping off puss. I believe it may be a bug bite due to where I work but am not sure. It is slightly painful when touched to hard but not woken left alone.

It seems some bug bite infection leading to cellulitis. If I was your treating physician I would have prescribed you Augmentin and Ibuprofen full course. Apply Triple antibiotic topical cream.
