What Causes Peeling Of Skin On My Palms After Soaking?

Hi there, I am 23 years old and the palm of my right hand just recently started doing something strange. Whenever shower or do dishes, or have my hand in water for an extended period of time the skin on my palm starts peeling and its pretty painful. It has never done this before and sensitive skin lotion does not seem to work. What is my palms problem?

Hello,

I understand your concern for peeling of skin after soaking. It is a common phenomenon due to dead skin accumulation after continuous injury by the repeated and continuous injury by soaps and detergents causing dead skin accumulation.

I quite often see you kind of cases especially during the change of weather and repeated washing.

I suggest yo to apply a lot of bland moisturizers on your hands. It is one of the sole most important factor in reducing the tendency of peeling of skin. By these humectants and moisturizers our skin does not allow the loss of trans-epidermal water and therefore there is less tendency of peeling of skin.

All the best.
