What Causes Partial Vision Loss And Severe Headache?

Please help me. I am begging you. My dad is 52 years old. He had triple bypass surgery 6 years ago and now he has partial vision loss in one eye and sudden very strong headaches. We got a CT scan of the brain and everything is normal also we saw many specialists and still they did not find anything and rushed him to the hospital on numerous ocassions. No one in Trinidad and Tobago knows anything about this and are giving us blank answers. Please i am literally begging you. Please help me please.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have partial vision loss and severe headache. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to may reasons like peripheral neuropathy , glaucoma, generalized anxiety disorder , panic attack , transient ischemic attack , diabetes, type 2 , migraine and retinopathy . I would suggest you to consult cardiologist to rule out serious condition like stroke . Doctor may order blood tests , CT scan , MRI , carotid ultrasound , cerebral angiogram and echocardiogram . Doctor may also refer you to endocrinologist to rule out diabetic condition . Also consult ophthalmologist for vision loss and rule out condition like cataract. For now take proper rest , do meditation , do not go anywhere alone and drink green tea thrice a day .

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well Soon.

Best Wishes,
