What Causes Palpitations While Suffering From Stress?

My daughter is 34 years old. Under a lot of stress. She s been having heart palpitations, cardiologist recognized this but her BP and HR is so low no meds given. She s gone to a neurologist with sharp shooting pains. It seems to be getting worse. Now it s shooting pains in the head and she feels like her brain is swelling and the left side of her body /head goes numb with shooting pain down left side. They are saying headaches... could she be having TIAs? or is it TAIs? You understand what I m trying to say.. Light is bothering her eyes also when all this is going on.
