What Causes Pale Stools Head Ache And Loss Of Appetite?

I have been falling sick on and off and now i have these symtomps, pale stool, mucus in stool, light fever, tiredness,tingling in hands and feet, heaviness in ears and head, frequent urinating and stooling,headache,loss of appetite,please what do you think is wrong with me?

Hi,

Here you can have acute gastroenteritis like intestine infection or there can be liver infection like hepatitis. Your stool is pale and anorexia present that's why liver pathology thought. Your work up done as follows:

- USG abdomen
- stool routine microscopy examination for presence of pus cells, parasite eggs, bacteria, RBC . - liver enzymes estimation SGPT, SGOT
- CBC

According to cause further specific treatment can be guided If bacterial enteritis is the cause than suitable antibiotic course given If liver pathology than udiliv prescribed and fatty food avoided and further management done for liver problem. If needed for typhoid, blood culture or IGM estimation like serological testing will be done. Consult a physician for examination with keeping my answer in mind.
