I am a 24 yr. old female. I am 5'4'' and 120lbs. I have had no weight loss I have actually gained 10lbs in the last 6 months. I am having frequent pale flaky stools, but also at times have yellow mucusy stools. I often have stomach cramps after eating or sharp pains under the rib cage..
As you mentioned you have problem of abdominal cramps with yellow mucus stool that may be because of gastroenteritis or intestinal inflammation condition or other reasons.
Liver or gallbladder problem also lead to more bile salt in stool cause yellow stool.
Consult a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis. Abdominal ultrasonograph is helpful to you.. Detail history and investigation helpful for diagnosis. Start a treatment as per reason behind it..
I hope this will help you. Get well soon.. Thank you.
