What Causes Painless Lesions On Buttocks?

Hello. My wife has had what initially we thought ringworm on her bum. It looks very much like ringworm, and there are 2 lesions now but were up to 5 at one point. We thought it could have occurred during hot yoga. After many anti fungal medications that have not worked, a scraping was done and determined it is not fungal. Unfortunately, they have no idea what it is. It does not cause any pain or discomfort, but definite concern.

Hi,

I have gone through your query.
As her symptoms suggests, most common finding is fungal infection. But it has been ruled out by test. At this point without seeing the lesion it is hard to comment. You can upload a picture on my page to help you out.
But most likely it may be Granuloma annulare which is common in female, may present in ring like pattern and there is usually no pain or itch.

Hope i have answered you.
