What Causes Painful Urination And Intercourse With Abdominal Pain?

I hadn t been sexually active for quite some time and had sex followed by pain very shortly after. No pain during sex, but within 24 hrs. I am in my mid 50 s and did use a lubricant for the first time. I am experiencing some vaginal pain, worse with urination, and some abdominal pain as well. Somewhat clear discharge without an odor. I also did use a scented douche 24 hrs prior to sexual intercourse. I don t know if I am having a reaction to the douche, the lubricant, or could I possibly have an STD that would give me symptoms so quickly if he was infected with one.

All options are possible and you should start with basic urine analysis and urinoculture to rule out uroinfection which is most probable cause. STDs and urinary stones are less common but should be ruled out as well if urinoculture is fine. It may be further allergy to lubricant or dryness due to reaction to intercourse.
