What Causes Painful Urination After Hemorrhoidectomy?

I have just had a hemarroidoctmy on Wednesday been in so much pain that i can deal with but since 8.30 this morning I have tryed to go to toilet but nothing will happen and I desperatly need to go for a poo but the pain is so severe I have sat in the bath most of today. I have had laxatives prune juice nothing is working please could you give me some advice as I am really suffering.

Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Hemorrhoidectomy pain is too much as skin is also excised with the piles mass and particularly when you strain so much.
I would advise you the following in view of the failed management in spite of Sitz bath and laxatives.
First of all consult your Doctor, Surgeon or a Nurse to see what the problem is, whether there is any swelling, infection so that additional management with an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medication and painkillers cam be give to alleviate the pain.
If required passage of Glycerin suppository or an enema help a lot.
Continue Sitz bath and laxatives.
Avoid things like Dulcolax as it is known to cause irritation of the bowel and straining in some cases.
Have full normal diet.
