What Causes Painful Swelling Under Armpit?

Hi, I have noticed for the past few days a tendon that seems to be a bit swollen on my armpit. It pulls, not really painful. I have no signs of inflammation anywhere or any swollen limphnodes. Could this be caused by an ingrown hair? I am a girl and epilate my armpits

Hello,

Swelling in armpit can be due to lymph node enlargement or an ingrown hair. In grown hair is usually accompanied by pain. I suggest you to consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and thus management.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
