Hi, I've had minor to moderate acne since my late teens. The first anti biotic I took for it was doxycycline for 3 months and it worked, but after I stopped it came all back worse than before. Then I tried using retin-a and it did work but not for long, it kept my skin healthy but I still broke out every now and then real bad. recently I was put on prescription called Ketoconazole for skin fungal on my arms. I noticed after 2 days my acne was completely gone, but after I was done with its 1 month course, It came all back. Now for the past few months I have been getting painful red pustules literally every day, but I started taking Ketoconazole again and my aacne is gone. Is my acne hormonal?
