What Causes Painful Pimples All Over The Face?

i have serious breakouts on my face especially on my cheeks i have tried most products but i think my skin is now irritated cause it hurts when i touch it i didn't have pimples when i was a teenager but now am 22 and my pimples are getting worse and won't go away please please help

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have painful pimples all over the face which is due to hormonal changes and it could be due to clogged pores of your skin and leading to accumulation of debris and bacteria and formation of pus. The symptoms can also occur due to side effects of certain medicines or allergic reaction .

I would suggest you to start with application of gel containing clindamycin in the morning and benzoyl peroxide at night time. You should not pluck them with plucker as it can lead to inflammation of hair follicles. You should visit dermatologist once and get yourself examined.

Don't use any cosmetics containing much chemicals. Avoid use of topical steroids. Drink plenty of water. Use medicated sunscreen such as Tancare rich in SPF 30. Recent methods such as Chemical peeling, dermabrasion, Dermaroller are also helpful. You can also apply raw honey on pimples at night .
