What Causes Painful Lump Under The Skin Of Arm?

I have a lump under the skin of my upper left arm ( elbow crease). I ve had it for years. It is small but is getting bigger and it move when touched. There is no pain or discolouration. The lump is no visible above the skin. I m not sure if these symptoms are related but recently I have occasional prolonged head ache and swollen lymph under right arm pit. The node was painful for three days then disappeared.

Hello, welcome to HCM. I am doubtful about your sex and age. The swelling what you are feeling in the left arm is the lymphnode swelling. This swelling is of serious concern as it is seen in tumours within in the upper half of the body(usually). You are saying it is present from many years. You also felt similar swelling in the right side. It was infective for few days, so it was painful and disappears as the infection decrease. But you cannot say whether that swelling on left side is still there. Please show it surgeon as feeling these lympnodes in armpit is difficult. You need to get thorough check up. Get the scans to see if there is any growth inside. If you are a female, first concern must be on breast, any mass growing within it. take care. my best wishes with you
