What Causes Painful Lump Under Rib Cage On The Left Side Of Body?

My husband has a painful noticeable lump under his ribcage on the left side of his body. He doesn t have any other symptoms besides the lump itself, and pain that feels similar to that of a bruise. We are wondering what could be causing this. Thank you.

Well come to HCM
If this is swelling then this could be non specific but this need to be kept under observation for any changes because this could be formation of abscess, right now this can be well managed with Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day, hope this information helps, take care.
