What Causes Painful Lump On Coccyx?
I have a lump on my tail bone the size of a golf ball, and it is very tender and very painful I m finding it difficult to walk lie down and sit down, and I m crying in agony most of the time, I don t recall falling on it or banging it, I m very concerned as the pain is getting worse.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
A painful lump at base of spine close to tail bone needs to be investigated urgently.
A MRI of the spine is required to know the probable site of origin and extent of the lump.
Since, the lump is painful and is in close proximity to spine, there is a possibility that it is arising from nerve.
Consult your orthopedician for clinical assessment and relevant investigations for further work up.
