General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI,
I understand your concern.
If X ray/Mri did not show any abnormality ,yhe cause of pain your wife had can be due to-
- Some jerk/trauma/ while the fall to back bone/age related changes might have lead to spondilitis of lumber spine.( needs X ray of spine to diagnose, medicines/ physiotherapy to treat)
- Weak bones ( osteoporosis)due to calcium, vitamin deficiency may cause such pain.( blood testing for serum levels of these,to confirm the
cause,followed by replacement)
You need to consult an Orthopedic doctor for expert check up & advise.
Thanks.
