hi, i am 80 years of age,with a few health problems.In March of this year i received a new ICD .(defibrillator) . ever sins my leg muscles are shrinking and have almost no strength left . i still can walk slowly, but stairs are impossible. . is there medication, special food or Md s ? Dieter
HI Well come to HCM Your problem could be due to general debility and this is common in geriatric age group, drink more water have some vitamin supplements, eat healthy no need to have any medicine for this, hope this information helps, take care.
Hello. You might have it seen by a neurologist. It seems to be a different problem from your device. You might need to have blood drawn for CPK and also have an EMG NCV --to test your neRves n muscles.
