What Causes Painful Left Wrist With A Hard Spot On It?

I woke up this morning with my left wrist hurting. Hard to bend back and to the side. On the right side of my wrist there is a hard place that kind of feels like a bone but it is not a bone. The vein goes to it. Is this something I should worry about? I am 34 years old so I thought it may be something older people get!

Thank you for your question on hcm.
if you have not suffered any trauma to your wrist, then it may be a ganglion which are suffering from.it is a soft tissue swelling and causes pain.it has no age predilections and is quite a simple condition. if its causing you too much discomfort ,then you can get it excised ,but before that it would be better to consult an orthopaedic and confirm the diagnosis
