What Causes Painful Large Rashes On Genitals,abdomen And Thighs?
Toddler, girl, has rash around genitals that forms large rings around the lower abdomen, thighs. One ring seems to heal and skin peels off like sunburnt skin. Then another forms. They seem to be painful. Doesn t like bottom wiped. Has lasted a few weeks.

Your little toddler girl is suffering from painful large rashes. Has lasted a few weeks. Rashes in toddlers are commonly caused by exposure to irritants, using shared items like clothing, towels, etc. There are many skin conditions that turn a baby's soft skin red, blotchy and scaly like infection, allergy, ring worm, jock itch, diaper rash, eczema, etc.
To avoid such infections high quality hygiene should be maintained. No sharing of clothes or toiletries. Keep the toddlers sleeping and playing area clean. Change the clothes at least two or three times daily. Prefer to use soft cotton clothes over other fabrics for the toddler.
You are suggested to get the toddler clinically examined by a pediatrician, she will be accordingly treated. In case of resistant skin infection she will be referred to ask in specialist/ dermatologist.
