What Causes Painful Burning Feeling In Penis After A Microsurgery?

For two yeears, when an urologisti performed a mychrosurgery in my prostate, and when the nurse took off the catherer after two months of the mychro, I have suffered pain and burning on the tip of my glans, i.e., in my meatus. I have been diagnosed with never damage; however, it may be some sort of another condition. Could you please advise me of the potential condition other than nerve damage in the meatus?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I don't think that this burning sensation is related to the previous history of microsurgery. I believe it can be related to any infection. Do a urine analysis and a uroculture.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
