Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your complain the symptoms indicates that you have got an allergic reaction to the candy and can be due to tamarind or any other constituent present in it and it comes under the food allergies..

Many a times any sour food product or citrus foods can cause irritation of the mucosa of tongue any other areas of mouth and can lead to formation of canker sore but as per other symptoms you seems to have allergic reaction..

In case it is allergy removal of allergen can slowly relieve the symptoms..

You can gargle with 1:1 solution of milk or magnesia and benadryl as it has anti allergic effect..

You can also take benadryl or allegra for faster recover of symptoms..

Hope your query is solved..

Thanks and regards..
