What Causes Painful Bump Between The Buttocks?
My husband has a thumb sized lump under his skin. Right next to his annus between his butt checks. Very tender and red. It s getting bigger and more painfull. He went to the doctor and he didn t know what it was. Referred him to a surgeon. What could this be.

There should be a consultation with a surgeon and per rectal examination by proctoscope may diagnose.An x ray pelvis/ultrasound or MRI may detect any deep lesi.
Do sitz bath, sit in warm water tub for 10 minutes twice a day
This can be piles or haemorrhoids. But to detect it you need to visit surgeon.
