General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It may happen that after surgical interventions patients complicate with constipation and difficult bowel movement. I would recommend you to take some movicol daily (2 sachets a day) and drink plenty of water. Lactulose syrup 1-2 tablespoons a day might help as well.
If no improvement with these or any worsening please see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
