What Causes Painful And Swollen Gums?

Hey, i went to the doctors because i was ill and they told me i just had some flu which will fade away. The flu has gone now but during that time my gums started swelling up and now they just keep getting bigger and more painful. Is this something i should be concerned about?

Dear patient
Swollen and painful gums are sign of vitamin c deficiency. It might be lack of hygiene. So start taking tab vitamin c once a day for 7 days and you will be fine. Maintain oral hygiene. Visit to dentist would be worthwhile. All the best
