What Causes Painful And Hard Lump On Shoulder?

hi, my name is Katy. Recently, I have noticed a lump on my right shoulder. The lump is hard and hurts when pressure is applied. I play three sports, softball, basketball, and volleyball, however, I have not had a recent injury to my shoulder while playing. It especially hurts when I lift my arm and move it across my body.

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

After going through your question, I can understand your concern.

It is really difficult to comment on hard lump over shoulder without clinical Examination.

Considering hard lump and is on shoulder it is most likely bony swelling.
It may be even a normal bone with some swelling over it.

I would like to advise you -
Consultant orthopedician for detailed clinical Examination.
Depending upon it there may be need for xray of shoulder joint.

Till that time use some painkiller along with antacids.

Hope this helps you, if so do vote as helpful.
