What Causes Pain While Urinating?

I had a sting like pain when I pee on Thursday I drank water the whole day n it eventually went away but today Sunday it started again but the pain is worse when I pee n it goes away when I finish there's a blood but I don't know its an infection,std, or the side affect of taking anti pregnancy pills?

I am Dr Mbong.
Pain while urinating can be of multiple causes. A kidney stone (prevented by drinking enough water daily) when the body tries to eliminate it can cause pain and at times blood when it passes through the urinary tree and urethra. An infection of the bladder (very common in women esepcially those sexually active) can cause similar symptoms.
It woudl be good to see a physician for examination, lab tests to know what the precise cause is and for timely and adequate management.
