Sharp pain just under the rib-cage on the left side. Has started in the last 24 hours. Food seems to mitigate it, but not entirely. When I lay down, the pain goes away; but when I get up the pain comes again, especially if I sit down and lean forward for a bit.
Hello, Thanks for the concern. You has complaint of pain in chest on left side. There are many causes of pain in chest on left side like may be local muscular pain, rib fracture, lung infection like pneumonia, pluritis, pnuemothorax,pinched nerve in thoracic spine,herpes zoster,angina pectoris, heart attack, pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, irritable bowel syndrome. At present it may be muscular pain and for that you can take pain killers with serretopeptidase, avoid lifting wait, can do hot fomentation twice daily, take light food and avoid spicy food. Meanwhile please consult your treating physician, get thoroughly investigated and start treatment accordingly. Hope this might help you. Take care
