What Causes Pain Under The Breasts After Alcohol Consumption?

I have been drinking a lot in the last year. I started to have pain under my breast which was like a burning pain and I think it has to do with my liver. So I stopped drinking a week ago and now I only drink water and will continue to due so for a very long time. What else can I do to help with my liver. Also, since I haven t been drinking the pain has gone away, but I m still interested in knowing what else can I do?

As per your pain location ,it indicates many pathological causes of liver.So do an ultrasound exam whole abdomen , LIVER function test and full blood count to ruled out pathological causes.
