What Causes Pain, Stiffness And Swelling In Joints?

Hello! My name is Caitlin and I am a 17 year old senior in highschool. I have had joint pain for a few years now, ranging from mild to more severe, and I was wondering if I should go see my doctor? It ranges from joint stiffness, slight swelling, mild pain when moving it, to a severe pain and popping sensation. Lately it has gotten worse, spreading from originally just my wrists and fingers, to my ankles, elbows, and jaw. I do participate in cheerleading, cross country running, and horseback riding, could it perhaps just be wear and tear from that? I have had no significant injuries to any bone or joint, not even a major sprain. What could it possibly be and should I make a doctors appointment?
