What Causes Pain On The Spine After A Back Injury?

I fell straight on my back a 6ft drop from a window at work was locked in bathroom panic set in and climbed through the window 2 weeks ago pain all over my spine not getting any better with prescribed medication doctor sending me for x ray appointment not till Friday what could I have done to my back.

get examined by orthopaedic surgeon and have MRI of effected part. x-ray also will do. take rest use a hard bed take tablet combiflam three times daily and apply analgesic ointment externally.
