What Causes Pain On The Right Shin?

30 yr old Male with Mild pain in my right shin in a very specific spot. It happens every time I stand up quickly or place an unusual stress on my right leg. I have confirmed the pain is coming from the bone itself. Its has been going on for about two weeks now, and I have NOT whacked my shin against anything. I m thinking I should get an x-ray ASAP. My grandfather died of Bone Cancer and I have been exposed to stupid amounts hazardous chemicals and fumes from industrial work. Thoughts and opinions please! Thankyou.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Sir, based on your history it looks like you may be thinking in the right direction. So i would suggest you go ahead with confirming your diagnosis. If apart from that, you'll be relieved of the mental stress of it turning up to bone cancer,if it's not so.

Apart from that I suggest you take some medication for your pain and give your leg some rest. Hopefully you may feel better in a few days.

I hope I answered your question. Wishing you good health
