What Causes Pain Inside Left Nostril With Cheek Swelling?

my wife, 63 years 5 ft gets pain inside left nostril since a decade. I consulted many ENT specialists and their treatment is to no help. When there is no symptoms of cure they start doing research which is just unwanted. Now since 6 months when pain starts from nose, swelling of left cheek starts with severe pain. Two months back again consulted ENT doctor and after all examinations, x-rays the impression is it is NOT ENT case. What is the reason cure? Please suggest.

Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query.
The pain and swelling in the nostril and cheek can be because of the formation of pus secondary to tooth or gum infection leading to cellulitis. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin and metronidazole (if you are not allergic).
I hope i have answered your query. Take care.
