What Causes Pain In Upper Right Quadrant Of Abdomen?

I am a 47 year old female weighing 168 pounds and 5'2". For the past six months I have had upper right quadrant pain with nausea, no vomitting, and fever of 99 to 100. Very tired and weak all time and cannot sleep well at night because of pain. Wake many times at night. Do not smoke and alcohol intake is one to two glasses of wine per week on weekends. Appetite is down as I feel very full after eating a small amount. Family doctor ordered CT scan of belly and found diffuse fatty deposits in liver but did not believe this was cause of pain. Mother passed away at age 64 with stomach cancer.
