What Causes Pain In Upper Quadrant Of Abdomen Along With Pancreatic Inflammation?
Hello I have mild to moderate pain in my right upper quadrant. I often feel something catch under my ribs. I struggle to eat and have been losing weight. I have been to my GI and they tested my blood. My lipase is high (600) but my amylase is normal. My pancreas seems mildly inflamed but the ultrasound showed nothing wrong with my gallbladder. They also did a CT scan which seemed to be normal. What is going on?

I really appreciate your concern, if the concern test are unremarkable then the pain that you have may not be due to any pathology but it could be functional in origin or at the most it could be due to Hyperacidity and it can be given try with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg and Tab Chlordiazepoxide three times in day, hope this information helps.
