What Causes Pain In Trachea?

I have a pain that throbs on my trachea between my mandible and clavicle in the middle. It is uncomfortable to turn or tilt my heads at times and the pain wakes me up at night sometimes. It goes away after a couple days but comes back in two months?? This is only the second time. Is this a thyroid issue? Is not really an issue until I m in bed?

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
You are most probably having thyroiditis. You will require a detailed examination as well as thyroid function test and a ultrasound neck to look for any other cause. Kindly consult your doctor at the earliest.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wish you good health. Thanks.
