General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

The pain may be related to the muscles or the lung. Pain that is more superficial, and if she does not have any fever, or fast respiratory rate, or a cough with phlegm, then it may be a muscular pain and may be helped by paracetamol and massage.

However, if she has any of above, or as you said decreased air entry then it may be a lung problem, especially like pneumonia. She is already on good treatment for that.

So she may use paracetamol and heat pads for the pain and wait for few days. See your doctor urgently if she has difficulties in breathing.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
