What Causes Pain In The Tongue And Swelling On The Face?
I'm not sure if this is dentistry but mt tongue and inside my mouth still very sore from a crown that was put in last Tuesday! I feel like I'm sore from all the novacaines I recieved I am swollen on my face my tongue is so sore and is very sensitive and the inside cheek were I recieved multiple novacaines for a crown is so sore also rinsing with warm water and salt for days. It's very painful and lip is a little numb
It looks like due to repeated dental procedures and use of novocaine and other dental materials there has been inflammation inside mouth that is leading to soreness and pain.. You should also get your crown checked as there might be any sharp point or edge over the crown that might be causing injury to tongue and cheek and causing inflammation and pain.. For now you should gargle with specialised mouthwash that has numbing agent as well as anti inflammatory composition like Magic mouthwash that will help in reducing inflammation and pain.. You should do cool water rinses and suck ice as both helps in reducing heat and inflammation.. Avoid spicy, acidic and hard foods.. Take Vitamin B complex daily.. But along with it get your checkup also done..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
