Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of pain in the tongue after gargling with Bactidol which is mainly due to immunologic abnormalities, allergic reaction and side effect of any of ingredient. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult an oral pathologist and get evaluated as the treatment can be planned as per the clinical examination and required laboratory tests. Maintain proper oral hygiene. Take painkiller and apply dologel if it is sore. Avoid intake of sharp and spicy food. Take plenty of water.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes,
