What Causes Pain In The Thigh And Back While On Zetia?

My wife has been taking Zetia for a long time. She has been having pain in her thigh and sometimes in her back for a long time. If she stops taking Zetia, how long will it take for the Zetia to be out of her system to see if that is what was causing the problem?

Hello Dear. one of the side effect of cholesterol lowering drugs which will appear on long term usage is muscle injury. Kindly talk to your doctor if the drug has to be changed. It may take a week time for the complete effect of the drug to stop once you stop the medication.
