Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your description it seems like you are experiencing neuropathic pain following the surgery. It might be due to nerve irritation or nerve injury sustained during complex surgical procedure. As of now you can take analgesics like Gabapentin or Oxycodone which is quite effective for neuropathic pain. If pain persist even with analgesics, steroid injection may be required, consult a neurologist and get evaluated for further plan of treatment.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
